Step-by-Step Setup
Create Your Account
Sign up at app.gorefer.io. Choose your subscription plan — Growth ($2,499/yr), Scale ($4,999/yr), or Enterprise ($9,999/yr). All plans are billed annually. Scale includes a 14-day free trial.
Complete Firm Onboarding
Follow the onboarding wizard to set your firm name, logo, contact info, and timezone. Upload brand colors and your tagline in under 3 minutes.
Configure Commission Structure
Go to Commissions → Standard Rates and set up referral tiers. Support different rates per preparer, service type, or referral channel.
Invite Your Team
Navigate to Users → Add User and add preparers and admins to your firm. Each user gets a secure sign-up email. Role-based permissions apply automatically.
Enable GIO AI
GIO AI is included with your plan. Open GIO in the sidebar and start a conversation — ask about clients, documents, or tax questions.
Share Your Intake Link
Go to Intake → Public Link and copy your firm link. Clients fill out their tax intake on any device with no account needed.
Set Up Payouts
Connect your bank account via Payouts → Settings to enable direct ACH payments to preparers on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedule.
